Candace Knapp: "Allegro" -sculpture"Allegro"

"Allegro" is an Italian expression of tempo commonly used in classical music. It calls for a faster tempo and usually indicates a dancing, light-hearted mood. The maple wood in this sculpture is formed into a long ribbon that seems to leap into the air again and again in a symbolic, gravity defying dance.
